2 stages – Food Diary / Report and recommendations

 

We are all aware that the human body needs energy to grow and repair itself effectively, and this in turn relates to the fact that ‘We are what we eat’ as what we eat is used to repair and rebuild our body’s vital structures on a constant basis.

 

It is a basic equation that states that energy consumed (what we eat) should equal the energy we expend (exercise) and if there is an imbalance in that equation we will either put on or lose weight. It is therefore crucial that we understand what constitutes an effective and wholesome diet.

As part of the Nutritonal Consultation Adept Fitness will ask you to complete a one-week food diary which we will then study and make a report with recommendations on how you will be able to improve your diet to fit your lifestyle and exercise programme.

 

The report will detail the recommendations we offer and explanations for those recommendations.

 

Contrary to many peoples’ beliefs it can be very straightforward achieving a balanced and nutritious daily diet, and achieving that will offer many more positives to your daily life in terms of energy and fitness.
